I hope we give this lot the shock of their lives and bomb at them with a 4-3-3 and tear them a new arsehole

We need to make sure some of those comments get pinned up in our dressing room before the game because it could just be that extra bit of motivation that spurs the lads on to a great result.

One man and his dog? I wouldn't mind but Torquay hardly get huge crowds for such a "big club"!

Come on Alty, beat these arrogant bastards and send them home with something to think about!

Glad "one man and his dog" Altrincham have annoyed them so much.

Can't believe we managed to attack if we had all those men behind the ball ... Amazing...

We need everyone to sing their hearts out on saturday whether we are winning or losing and show those tossers what us lot at Altrincham are about

I'm sure the "one man and his dog" will be much more vocal than those arrogant pricks in yellow

Shouldn't be hard as 80 of us at their place outsung them anyway and were more passionate .. Not bad for a team like ours .. .That happens to be in the same league, and got a point from them when their strikers probe earn more than our whole first 11 put together.

Hi Torquay fan here (And moderator of our Forum)

I wouldnt pay any attention to the "one man and his dog" jibe as it comes from the forum idiot. And is NOT what us Torquay fans think.

Were actually a friendly bunch. Well the majority of us anyway.

Im coming up for the weekend staying in Manchester. Any reccomendations for a pre match pint on Saturday Afternoon?

30ish pubs/bars in a the town centre, pre-match drinkies by footy fans usually take place in the Station hotel opposite the big clock, and the bridge inn on the walk down to the ground opposite the big tescos. The social club at the ground is open to both home and away fans before the game, use the red gates on the left hand side of the main stand to access the bar before the game.Go in the bar BEFORE you go in the away end as you CANNOT access the bar once you have paid and got  inside the away end.

Thanks for that.

Two more things is the ground walkable from the Train/Tram station? And which stand are we in?

Cheers.

Alex.

The ground is about a 10min walk from station (past said Bridge pub) and you walk past the "Golf Road" and main stand to the end where the housing development is going on, there is signs on the corner of Golf Road and Moss Lane to direct you... basically keep walking on Moss Lane to the opp end of ground.
