RIP - Gary "Skipper" Wright

Not a lot I can say really as feel gutted.

Condolences to his family and I think its fair to say he enjoyed his life as much as he could have. A very nice man indeed and the first "Character" I ever met on the Alty supporters coach.

I'm sure we have something that we remember about him and I can guarantee it'll be something that will make you smile when you think of it.

Shows how insignificant football actually is. This is really really sad and I would like to offer my sincerest condolances to all his family.

I echo the above. I didn't know the guy personally but it is a tribute to him that I knew who he was. Very sad news and as I saw him at Grays just last Saturday it makes you think of the fragility of life.

I have never met "Skipper," but he sounds a great bloke and a great fan. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. It s a sad loss to the "Altrincham family."

Skipper sorry to see you go.. My abiding memory would be of you on your first away coach when we were in the Unibond Leauge.

You had a wee bit to drink and as we were a bit aprenhensive to ask you your name we named Skipper for which you were know only as for some time.

Alty through and through and will be sorley missed.

You were the Skipper plain and simple RIP.

'Who's the Skipper?' etc

Very sad news. One of the Alty faithful through thick and thin. The terraces will be a poorer place without him.

Rest In Peace Skipper

A true Alty Legend, real character and a nice guy as well.

I'm sure the coach journeys will be slightly less lively without you mate.

Absolutly horrible terrible heart breaking news.

A great lad with a big heart.

Another Alty character gone but always remembered.

Can anyone print these off and pass to the family?
