Worst player of all time

 Does anyone remember James Glendinning.Was there a worse player to wear the Alty shirt and does anyone know which pub team he's playing for now?

I might be a million miles out here, but there may have been a striker called Jordan (who if memory serves me right, was on loan from then league club York). Even as a youngster i remember thinking he was total sh*te. The name might be wrong, but I'm sure he was on loan from York.

Gearge Yardley - came to Alty in 1974 from Australia having previously made his name with Tramline Rovers. Played for us against Hartlepool and Blackburn and that was enough for manager Roy Rees.

And before anyone mentions Gary Hulmes -  I would point out that Gary just didnt fit into the Johnny King after training/match culture set. Gary was top scorer for years in the League of Ireland firstly with Sligo Rovers then Limerick City whose then Manager Eoin Hand (who is a personal friend of mine) sold him to us in 1981. Gary left Alty when we didnt get elected as expected to the Football League. If I am corect he was a full-time employee of Alty along with goalkeeperJohn Connaughton. ;D

Carl Furlong has to rank amongst the top ten worst Alty players of all time. No ability, no discipline, psychopathic tendencies. And that's just his good points.

must admit it didmake me giggle to hear of an alty player being described as "truly awefull"!!!

however there must be one from a pub team no onesmentioned......surely!!!!
