JOHNSON was my "man of the match" yesterday.
He caused all sorts of problems up front and challenged for everything
Definately deserves to start on Tuesday - if fit.

His goal today was first class
Took on the defender, turned him inside out, then brilliantly executed winner

I was at the game today and it was a great result
We were the better side in the first half and took the game to them
Second half we defened for most of the half
Overall a game of not too many chances
Col was great and combined very well. Difference to last season was that he didnt stand out alone as there were other great performances and we played well as a team.
Johnson was particuarly impressive, and challenged for everything up front.
Also a great atmosphere

Typical, this is a game I went to last seson as it wa on a Sturday and just over 100miles from my house.
Only an idiot would attempt to negotiate the M25/M1 from the Gatwick area for 7.45 weekday kick-off
Anyway I have Setanta

I am certain that I have only accessed the bar from inside the ground (once I have paid) and I have been there the last 3 seasons

I will be there as its only 40 mins away from my house
I assume we will be allowed in their bar inside the ground ?
We went to 9 games in the South last season and already 3 for this season have had to be crossed off my list now Rushden is on a Monday night.
Is the Gazelle definately going ?

I am going for 2-0 to Alty.
All is not well at Woking. This is the best opportunity we could have hoped for in getting off to a start with an away win.
Woking are probably the worse side that I have seen over the last 3 seasons. We are due to get something there.
I think Woking will be the one full time side that will struggle this season like Weymouth did under similar circumstances. I also think Salisbury and Histon wont have great seasons.
For the drop Woking, Eastborne, Lewes and hopfully Northwich instead of Barrow.

« on: July 26, 2008, 06:34:19 PM »
The deal I got from Virgin Media is £20.00 for Broadband + Virgin TV + free Telephone calls to 01 and 02 numbers anytime. To add Setanta costs me £8.00 extra a month. However I cant make head or tail of their billing system so I dont know what I am actally being chrges, although their callCentre says £28 is correct.

My workmate who is a Crawley supporter rates him very highly - a brilliant signing for us

« on: July 24, 2008, 09:08:09 PM »
In such cases of families I dont see why all Children accompanied by an adult shouldnt go free.
I am totally against charging kids. Grays last season wanted to charge me £4 for my 4 year old. Inside the ground there were no families at all and only a handful of kids, which is very unusual for non league football. Gone is the next generation of Grays supporters. And they wonder why they struggle to get gates of 800. At least Northwich have an excuse for poor attendences - their games are guaranteed to serve up crap !!!

Last season we played Millwall at home in the FA Cup and the 3pm kickoff time remained, after a big debate.
So I cant see Wrexham fans posing a bigger security risk.
However the Cops may enforce the closure of local pubs like they did for the Millwall match - that will not go down well with our local Publicans as Summer Bank Holiday Monday is a big payday without any matches, whereas the FA Cup is played on a freezing cold miserable Saturday afternoon in November.
I also recall a lot of Wrexham lads in the late 70's use to drink in the Station Hotel before United matches.
