« on: September 05, 2007, 09:46:25 PM »
Why have none of you "Uploaded"? things such as the tottenham highlights and barnet game and all other stuff we have on film? I wouldnt have a clue where to start but Im sure some of you could do it.Lets get some of our achievments over the years on to youtube.

Footnote: If someone could transfer that whole sportscast video onto youtube it would be fanastic, show all these new comers to the league how 1990-91 unfolded!

Held york well in the first half, but the X1 that played that last 30 minutes for me, has to be the starting line up on saturday, maybe swoppnig one of the forwards for col little

Id love to see

1)    coburn
2)    Lane
3 )   Munroe
4)    Tinson
5)    Clancey
6)    Potts
7)    Lawton
8.    Whalley
9)    Peyton
10)  Little/O'niel
11)  Senior

Starting with that line up, I firmly think we'd get somthing out of oxford, to see the way york were shielding he ball in the corners and the whistles going around when we were 1-2 behind in the final minutes showed that we clearly had them rattled. And if I may be as bold,if york were without kelly (the £50k signin) and Panther, we may have won the game. Special mention for the worst decision by a ref ever, I hope he is taken to the cleaners, that cock up and disallowed goal that followed was beyon belief.

WELL DONE EVERYONE.

Altrincham FC First Team / Hope loads will be travelling tomorrow

I know midweek away games are a pain, but lets hope to see as many robins fans at york as poss tomorrow, its times like this when the lads need the fans to lift them, not cup finals at stoke, and saturdays attendance at moss lane was poor, lets all get up the A1 and roar the lads on tomorrow.

Im not offering any congratulations until we start winning games, personally I would have took moore over berkeley, that being based on him getting off on international duty already, not his fault, and good on him,but hardly ideal is it?

I hope we could still sign moore, even if it is only as cover on a short term deal.We look powderpuff upfront to me.But then again quality targetmen arent easy to find on limited funds

. Also, how about guided tours of the stadium for local schools, possibly even let them play on the pitch.

Baldrick, school parties tour moss lane on regular occasions during the week as school trips. It always proves very popular with all the local schools.

A True Altrincham Football club legend, and I hope we see him join the altrincham wall of fame. A top lad and a fantastic severvnt to the club over the years in many ways not least his goalscoring. Rod thankyou for your loyal service whilst playing for the club through some very dark days in the beginning and also for providing me with some fantastic memories, hope to see you back on the terraces at moss lane when you arent playing a game.

Also interestingly, yesterdays article about chester having the following players available
Ashley Westwood, Sean Hessey, Phil Bolland, Dean Bennett and Simon Marples (albeit vaughan mentioned lending the to his mate pacey at droylsden) However if they are no longer in bobby willliamsons plans, could we take a look at a couple of them?,We know Phil Bollands strenghts, and also this guy sounds interesting

He was playing at St albans last year, score against us for bury in pre-season.Graham said at the meeting that he'd be a good target man.I might go down to training on a spying mission later and see if there are any unfamilar faces  ;D

Ahmed Dean never signed for Bury in the end

Sean Clancy still seems to be without a club

Aaron burns however unrealistic seems to still be unattached.

So, has he left the building or is he just on one of these player lending things like the lads at Leek? If hes gone  does that mean someone else is coming in before midnight tomorrow?
