Bishop Stortford on Saturday

Toughest game of the season to date, we'll have to be at our best, 3 points would keep us tucked in nicely

They've only scored 10 goals in 7 games. Then again, they've only conceded 9 ! First job is to keep Sappleton in check. Which should be something Luca knows all about !

They were the only team to shut us out in both league games last term, so we' re due a couple of goals. I think we can come back with the three points in our current mood.

We're in good form but then so are they - in fact both teams are unbeaten in five, with four wins and a draw.

A draw would probably be a good result, although I can't quite bring myself to accept that.

I'd be delighted with a draw down there.

They won at Guisely so are no mugs.

Last years game there was one of the most depressing days for me of the last few years. They were so poor but still managed to beat us comfortably in the end. It was then that i realised we were never going to be playoff contenders and had another year of travelling to Solihull and Gainsborough etc.

Pretty sure Phil Anderson is a defender rather than a goalkeeper.

When Alty face Bishop's Stortford this Saturday, the FA confirms that they will have two playters suspended. Luke Chambers is banned for three games from 22/09/2012 and goalkeeper Phil Anderson misses one first team match for a sending off. The Bishops have brought in ex-Histon keeper Jorg Stadelmann to cover for Anderson.

That's taken from the official website. :)

Phil Anderson is a defender, he was my signature for a while. His old profile informed us his boyhood hero was Mahatma Ghandi and his favorite food was boiled bacon and cabbage. You don't get top stuff like that on our boring website!  ;)  ;)  ;)
