I saw that brackley had under 200 on Tuesday night and they are pushing for promotion again

It's really quite scary !

We have been fortunate that our crowds have remained fairly static ( I think)

Financial pressures will make fans have to choose whether to attend I suppose but the other issues is I personally feel a lot of non league is overpriced

The issue is you can get tickets now for cup and selected premiership games for the same/ less or a little more than non league

Of course the big money money men are subsidising this i know city for one do it for selected games and they can of course afford to take the hit but non league feels the squeeze as they can't compete either financially or from a spectacle perspective

I think the work we do In the local community is so important with the academy's and local teams etc as we have to hope young people will be attracted to alty like I was all those years ago from my grandad and free tickets at Wellington road

It's got me thinking this thread just looked that we had the 3 rd highest average attendance last year out of both the north and south league behind Telford and one other this I bet will be another reason why teams raise there game at moss lane as it will be played In front of relatively a larger crowd

We'll be 4th at best this year, behind County, Telford and Boston

I'll never forget the sign at the entrance to their car park - The Victoria Stadium, home to Manchester United reserves and Northwich Victoria FC.
