I'm not coming next Saturday.

Me and my Dad are not spending £74 to see us get beat, which we will do.

We're terrible.

MFCMark, you will win on Saturday, trust me. You will. I know it's the FA Cup and everything, but seriously... A good win for you guys might kick start your season, so bring all your friends and family and help our coffers out. I'd love it if we were competitive for parts of the game, perhaps getting a goal in the process, but for us it's all about the occasion, not the result.

A little omen for you:

Back in 1992 we were near the bottom of the Conference wthout a single home league victory and looking pretty woeful. Along came Chester from Division 2 (now League 1) who we outbattled and dumped out of the cup at Moss Lane.

It's the FA Cup and form is meaningless.

There are too many people building up expectations for this game. With respect to Chester 1992, the gap between us and Millwall is far far greater. I'd prefer for the players to go into the game determined to do their best and keep their heads held high. You're right Alty365. It is the FA Cup and I suppose that brings out the hope in us (even me). However, let's just hope we all enjoy the experience and do ourselves and our league proud. No need for omens.

Loiuse I agree we need to give 100% and see what happens. I would love a win but we need to be realistic.

What happened to the beauty of the FA Cup? It's one game of 90 mins, league form for both teams goes out the window. We've done it before and I'm sure Heathcote is reminding the players it's their time now. In 10 years time we could be talking about beating Millwall back in 2007.

Believe!!

Tottenham 1 - 1 Altrincham    BELIEVE

Dare I point out that Alty's 1979 team was rather better than the 2007 version?
