Despite the last 20 minutes of the game being ridiculously open, with both sides creating serious chances to go on and win the game, the game finishes 0-0.

We get absolutely slaughtered throughout extra-time, but for Stuart Coburn to keep us hanging in the game by a thread.

In minute 117', Simon Richman plays in James Walshaw who is through on goal. He tries to go around Steven Drench, who brings him down and a penalty is awarded. Walshaw converts, in front of the Golf Road end, and the Altrincham fans go wild.

One goal in it. Could well go the distance into pens.

It' more about nerve and ability to keep calm than skill in this sort of a game.

Being at Moss Lane is an advantage but we have to use it by treating this as just another home game.

Att is just over 3.5k, but my gut feeling is we miss out.  Hope I am wrong and it's just my nerves!

With most of the best strikers in the league on show, it'll be 3 3 after 90 mins - there on, frig knows, but we would certainly lose on penalties. A crowd of just short of 3K with the vast majority supporting the home team - COME ON ALTY!!!
