Probably shouldn't have counted Shawcross, he was player of the year for the youth team last season

This won't be easy, especially as it is away,we always seem to struggle in
recent years against lower opposition, remember Kendal Town,we were
awful that day but sneaked a win.I would take a repeat of that day with
hopefully a home draw next round.

Ben Shawcross has gone to Salford now anyway i think. I work with Phil Edgehill who plays for them and they're over the moon. We're still a big club to some people! Said whoever they got they wanted to be at home as it'll give them a chance. He informs me that the Greggs sponsorship deal has finished though. You'll have to get your Wythenshawe dummies elsewhere.

Looking at some of the comments from you kittens I can only conclude that you are all puddled.
The team will go there and batter them, absolutely batter them!

Matt Doughty played for them a few weeks ago, so his inside knowledge should help us scrape a 0-0 draw.

I'm loving the fact the John L is getting over our nightmare at the weekend by expunging Crawley from existance.  If only it were that easy!  (Who have they got in the Trophy?)

It'd be nice if we took this competition seriously, if you get to the later stages it can become a small moneyspinner and a trip to wembley is always nice, hopefully I pray we get a professional 2-0 win, don't know toomuch about curzon to be fair, but they won't be pushovers.

8th.November 2008, Curzon Ashton 3 Exeter City 2.

Not only the same scoreline by which FCUM knocked out Rochdale last week.............................but the final and clinching goal was scored by the same player, Mike Norton !

Taking recent cup draws into mind this has to be a good draw for us. As someone who was at North Ferrby United though I hope we dont underestimate them - the money could certainly come in handy as could the momentum of the cup run.

Ken, and every other good manager knows not to under-estimate the opposition in a cup game.........however, last time I looked them up, they were 3 divisions below us !
