Chester Predictions
« on: February 16, 2016, 09:29:00 AM »

We don't seem to do this anymore, so I thought I'd start one for tonight against my local team.
I hope they remember to bring a nice warm coat as it might get nippy and we know how sensitive they are to the weather.
Anyway, we will be right up for this from the start and I reckon a solid 2 0 win for the Robins.

I think Alty 3-1 Chester. We have goals in us at the moment and with our decent home record and their poor recent record against us and their league form I would make us the favourites. Crowd depends on how many they bring but somewhere around the 1300 mark, more kids maybe because it's half term I believe.

Just looking at 2 random bookies Ladbrokes has both us and Chester at 13/8, draw 23/10; Corals has us slight favourites at 13/10. Pretty close though

Should be a decent win for us, and hopefully nothing too tense.  3-1 or 2-1.

A Chester fan I know doesn't reckon they will bring that many tonight.

This going to be one tough game.
I hope for the win, but a draw seems the bet.
COME ON ALTY,  prove me wrong, and get that win.
2-2
Crowd  1103.

2-1 to us. Feisty game requiring a firm referee....so we'll get another like Saturday. Attendance 1195

3 massive games coming up,  7 points required.

Tonight will be another tough game.  Interested to see if Rankine starts if fit.

2-1 Alty.

Some strange words from Ross Hannah about us.

At the end of the day it’s a local derby and every game we have played against them recently has been close.

“But I felt we could have played a lot better than we did against them in the FA Cup and we should have put that game to bed until they scored.

Strikes me as being both historically inaccurate and deluded, poor chap.

To be fair, the past 2 results were 1-1 and 1-0. Although I didn't go, the 2014 Boxing Day game sounded like we were perhaps just a touch flattered by the 2-0 scoreline. Obviously, the New Year's Day 4-1 was a rout.
