Boxing day
« on: December 23, 2015, 03:19:05 PM »

I would say it's very unlikely that the game will be on, looking at the forecast. Still at least it means that my fellow Cestrians won't get wet, as we know the effect a bit of rain has on them.
Just hope it's OK for Monday at Tranmere, by then I will be climbing the walls to get out of the house!

It's  dry here, and the forecast isn't that bad.

No Boxing Day footy is one of the seven signs of the apocalypse, isn't it?

If folk want to bury their heads in the sand, that's their right, but the BBC online forecast for Altrincham is currently showing non-stop rain varying from the light to the heavy for 48 hours from 9am Friday.

Hopefully the same forcasters who claimed it would be the coldest winter for 200 years.

Not had the heating on yet

My late father once summed up weather forecasting for me. "Like playing pin the tail on the donkey using a computer and an invisible donkey."

It'll either rain or it won't. .

If we had a winter break we would all know, being left in this predicament shows the inadequacies of the Football Association.

It's been glorious today, we'll be fine on Boxing Day. See the Cheshire hunt off in the morning, moss lane in the afternoon, lovely stuff
