I watched his interview on the Sky Sports app yesterday and actually thought he came across quite well. I know he's got a reputation as a complete dong, but part of me actually thinks he might do ok there.

which is sadly irrelevant, cos its's Bellendio who calls all the shots there.  Evans probably won't see out the season. Leeds are a joke.

Ultimately it's a guy with a pretty good record. Football would not be as good without pantomime villains like him.

I'm not sure if "good" is the right word Tom.....but the Evans's and Mourinho's of this world certainly have entertainment value.

His Crawley team were the last conference title winners who I thought could play a bit of nice football too.

Maybe, but he had the dough behind him. I'll never forget the goalkeeper on the chequers end laughing and agreeing when Evans was abused, said he's a sh*t manager and training was awful.

Well, no sh*t, thanks for pointing out Crawley had money. All the teams who've been promoted have had decent resources. I was pointing out they played a bit better football than other promoted sides.

Or can you not be a good manager if someone doesn't like you or you don't work on a shoestring budget? ffs

Perhaps I shouldn't bother posting a small opinion eh. (FFS) is if not possible for you to post a mature reply?

In my opinion he's done better with Rotherham than what he did with Crawley. There's no doubting he's got something in his locker manager wise. But to answer your question of course someone can be a good manager if they don't work on a shoe string budget.

Fair enough, just too often on here any discussion comes round to money abs stops it dead.

I too thought he did well at Rotherham and after two promotions I'm not sure what they expected. Maybe when the win ratio drops his personality shines through a bit more?
