Both Gateshead & Barnet ties this season have resulted in score draws.

Hopefully Gateshead will find some long-overdue home form and we can drag them down to Wembley - especially given I assume Dinanga would be cup tied (phew).

As long as we win, I don't care if it's a coin toss! 😉

For me, this was the best tie for us.......anything but Gateshead away

Home is the main thing & by playing ‘Fax also guaranteed it should be a sell out with a much larger away support than ‘Heed or Barnet would have bought. Both sides will fancy their chances & difficult to read too much into the Christmas fixtures with the number of personnel changes we’ve had since then. A lot for the club to do off the pitch in the build up so patience to go with the inevitable giddiness & hundreds of enquiries they’ll be fielding in the run up. I’d anticipate a 5k sell out crowed with Fax getting about 1000 tickets.

Makes up for losing the Notts County game to (probably) a Tues

The Wembley 'finals day' ticket provides entry to see both Vase and Trophy finals.

If we were to make it to Wembley we might be able to gang up with Congleton fans (if they win their semi in the Vase).  They play in our neighbouring Borough of Cheshire East.

Please don't give them half the pop side unless FA rules dictate over 1K away fans. We can sell a shed load to home fans. Another call to bring
something red. United play on Sunday.
Not sure what our capacity is.

As above, I'd get tickets shifted to STH, VIP, Patrons first, then go through pre-registered tickets. Give Halifax the away end; if i the top of the pop can be open, if a buffer is required; put it on the away end.

As I said above, we should give them 1100 to 1200 tickets in the away end plus some seats for those who need them at the end of the family stand. As many Alty fans who want to go should be given the chance. Fairness doesn't come into it imho.

I'm not keen on us getting a really big gate.

When we do the atmosphere always seems to be diluted by loads of people who are only half interested in what is happening on the pitch.

Plenty of bodies but not much extra support.

we all know already the club will sell as many away tickets as possible regardless of the impact to the atmosphere

They really shouldn't do in this case. We need every edge we can get.
Surely we can fill three quarters of the capacity with a place at Wembley at stake?!
The singers need to be at the end of the pop side when we're attacking the Hale end to give the players a little extra boost.
