The more I think about this the more sensible it sounds- an ex-pro who also has managerial experience in non league

One of my all-time favourite City players. Please let it be true.

There may well be better candidates but Flitcroft has a lot going for him; he's played at a very high level so will command respect, has managed at non-league so knows the level, and is no novice but with plenty to prove still. No ties to the club either so he'll have a fresh perspective on everything.

Hopefully this will be sorted in the next hour or so. Hope it's true about Gary.

I've watched Chorley a few times this season, most recently against Salford City at the end of the season. Have to say that whilst it wasn't the prettiest football, they did try to get the ball down and pass it!

Also Matt Jansen would come with him. An Ex premier league player who could do a job at BSN level i'm sure!

This would be a great appointment....

I know Gary and he has not applied for the job. Any other rumours??

Ian if that's true then I'm disappointed. He would have been an excellent candidate.

Hope whoever has got it is even better...

Hence we should all predict Preece, and with our prediction record.........................
