Offering his own take, Kittrick said, 'I have said to players not to jump before sailing. I have hardly spoken to anybody yet. He has now taken it out of my hands. Why is it always a manager who has got to ring players? Why didn’t he ring me and ask what was going on? It is only now I know where I am with the budget. I have about twenty phone calls to make. Some players have rung me and asked what is happening and if I wanted them next year. Others just sit and wait to be pampered. If players need to know what is happening, they should ring me up'".
Erm......I am astounded by these comments......your the manager, dont you think YOU should be on the front foot with YOUR team and YOUR players. It is always a managers job to manage his players, not the other way around.
Thanks Kittrick.
A song to the roses advert tune - Thank you very much for Bosh and Walshaw, thank you very much, than you very very very much !!!
