Trip down forum memory lane (I know Ballers enjoys these ...)
« on: December 23, 2010, 05:36:35 PM »

Every now and again I look at the old forum...

Maybe the newer fans forum users will not have the old address: http://www.network54.com/Forum/75616, there was a forum before the one linked but that's long gone :(

Always interesting to see what was being discussed on various dates, and to see how the forum has grown, and hopefully improved :)

There are 525 pages back to December 2000

http://www.network54.com/Forum/75616/page-525 (for quick looking use the url to the right and change the 525 to the desired page number) I just put random numbers in and see what was being said..

If you find anything interesting then please post a reply ... Some good stuff on it...

COME ON ALTY

AHA FOUND IT..

This one always makes me laugh, and think about it every time Vics are in the sh*t.. They thought they had got out of financial trouble in 2000, had about another 4 or 5 times to worry since then :)

Hours??....

Seriously, it's a pretty decent record of a sometimes desperate decade for our club.

Some of the vitriol in the controversial, non registration days, was terrible.

Without looking but the bit where 'Raccy Boy' was on about Neill Hardy and we told him he was at our trust launch and was going to sign for us led to much wailing and gnashing of teeth and denial. "I'm going to ask him at training tonight" and Ecky puts 'good lad, put the apology on here for us in the morning' - lmfao  :D

Reminded me of how Radcliffe were the up and coming club and how Alty were past it and old news .... Loved those Unibond fans... and chairman
