It is irrelevant as to how news leaks out, print, twitter, carrier pigeon or smoke signals. It is only to do with all parties agreeing and adhering to a comms protocol in advance.

According to the Salford site he's chosen to leave to join Alty rather than being released. He's not long since returned to Salford after a spell in Australia so maybe we're making sure International clearance is all above board before announcing it. One bitten and all that!!

I was thinking similar,it shows how low we've gone when people are quite happy with us signing Chris Lynch! I do think he'll be a decent Evostick defender,he has plenty of experience and may even captain the side next season.

Shows how far we have regressed. I seemed to recall he was a tough fully committed but not great footballer. Jones, Owens, Lynch - Matts dogs of war.

Durham City did manage nul pointes a few years back after having all 6 of theirs deducted.

We'd only get points deducted that we achieved with him in the team or the minimum which I think is 6 points so unfortunately we'll only be breaking our own records this season and not getting any publicity for being the laughing stock of world football.
