Will 5 consecutive away games be a record?

No. That's a circular bit of plastic with a hole in the middle.

That is such a bad joke I'd be proud of it! LOL

Really glad we have dont this, perhaps it will make the barton squad a little lighter but be good to get some more games under our belts so that the "run in" isnt blocked (i suspect the trophy will be delayed until later in the season)

OMG, it's Airplane, the 1980 film, all over again!
-
We didn't look like the away team last weekend. Looking forward to another good run out.
-
Agreed, but that said Wealdstone have turned in some good results recently.
I seem to remember when we played them in the 80's, was it the Ashford Brothers who used to play for them. Or am I getting confused with Enfield. I seem to remember in one game Gary Anderson scored first, then they proceeded to put 4 past us.
-
Thats Enfield you've got in mind Steve. Wealdstone was two cart horses Byatt and Bowgett at Centre Half, the Cordice brothers up front and a young Vinnie Jones as well as a young Stuart Pearce
-
massive dose of common sense allowing this to be arranged.

We had some great games against both Enfield and Wealdstone. Great away trips, but the decades chew the memories. Fairly sure I travelled down from Alty for midweek aways with school the next day. It just seemed a normal thing to do and my parents never batted an eyelid.
Happy days!

Surely it isn't!
At work I ask customers if they have a store card and get the answer, "Actually I have!"
To which I reply "Don't call me Ashley!"

We do pretty well against teams on good form, to be honest - I feel more nervous playing teams that have been battered numerous games in a row!

See the official club website for details.
Just for a second I forgot where I was and thought this was going to be the travel arrangements. Anyway, back to real life.

It takes time to adjust. Every time I watch SPL highlights I think "not many there..." before remembering why!

So you're not club legend Ashley Mowers?

Brilliant!
Wish I'd thought of that!

Ahh, thanks management guru, got the brothers mixed up. Of course it was the Cordice Brothers.
