Well done Ryan Shotton...a proper footballer with a proper attitude.
-
Played with heart. Don't see that in many young players today.
Still have a £5 bet with a mate on him playing for England.
-
He was a model professional the entire time he was with us and gave nothing less than 100% every time he pulled on the shirt.
Well done Ryan!
-
Fantastic news for him, as said he really was a credit to himself when he was here; I am sure he will continue to develop into a fantastic player over the next couple of years should he retain the attitude he showed whilst with us.
-
As well as being a talented player the thing that made Ryan Shotton really stand out and be remembered so fondly was his attitude.
I can't remember many players who clearly had the talent for higher things to have put so much effort into a loan spell at Alty....often it is clear the loan players simply cannot be bothered.
So a well deserved debut for Ryan, congratulations and best wishes for your future career. If attitude was the key, Ryan would be above Wayne Rooney!
Maybe to progress fruther, Ryan needs another spell at Alty?!?...OK...wishful thinking...
-
well deserved too.
Welcome back any time!

When I read this I managed to get the fourth and fifth words the wrong way round.

Great to see Ryan in action again for Stoke today against Cardiff. Played the entire 120 minutes and looked very comfortable all the way through.
Well Done Ryan!

annoyingly the radio 5 chaps only mentioned his loan spells at tranny and barnsley, not Alty.
pleased for him. Coming on a treat that lad.
