was told saturday after the game by a reliable source that the players had been called in for extra training wednesday due to the poor performance. The captain told the management that many of the players objected to this...... no extra training tonight!

Go back to your "reliable source" and tell him his info is complete bollocks.

The only reliable source at the club is in the catering outlets. ;)

I think there is something a little bit political going on the forum in the last few days...can't quite put my finger on it.

Really reliable sources don't normally let on to those who go and post our dirty linen / trade secrets straight onto the forum.. ;)

You put your finger on it earlier in the thread Ecky when you said it was "complete bollocks". That is also my considered opinion. Such "reliable sources" or "tossers" as I prefer to call them include such individuals who come up to you in pubs when you're playing the fruity and tell you to "hold yer plums" (no puns please, Jennifers Dad!) and "it's due a big payout". They sometimes frequent bookies and always know a "sure thing". The sure thing is that they are talking complete sh*te and the horse that they have given you the old nudge, nudge, wink, wink over would probably struggle to beat your gran over 400 metres. Their betting prowess and subsequent riches have not translated into good taste in clothes as the local scarecrow is dressed better and doesn't have a personal hygiene problem.
