i've just spoke with the corby manager and he has confirmed the game will go ahead.

following from last weeks breakthrough technology at St. Neots, the corby groundsmen has pioneered the second generation of overground heating.

Over 50 Corby trouser presses have been dismantled and lined on the most vulnerable areas of the pitch with the heat pads (set at 20 °C) facing towards the ground. This should alleviate the build up of any frost and keep the pitch playable for the weekend.

In Northampton and there's an inch of snow on the ground - but the sun is out!
