Yes, think it will be a strong team tomorrow, as per Parky's post match interview against Stalybridge.

Should be a good game as they have a few x alty, Palmer and Wilkinson

What's the situation with Ollie Byrne and Joey Jones? Could they be available?

Good shout re: Ollie Byrne, I suspect he'll be given a go in goal assuming there's no reason why he wouldn't be available.

I get the impression that Joey Jones might be a little while longer, but hopefully Matty Kosylo can feature a bit - and Regan Linney can be given his first start since returning.

Yes. What's happening with him? I notice he's not in the first team squad on the official club website. Is that an error or is he still with us?

By way of an update, Joey Jones was our second half Alty TV match summariser v Solihull at the weekend. He confirmed he was just about to start running work again this week after his broken ankle. It will be the new year before he is likely to be available for selection.

This was the team from last round:

21. Matt Gould, 32. George Burroughs, 2. Sean Lawton, 5. James Jones, 16. Sam Roscoe, 8. Olly Wright, 11. Loui Williams, 4. Hayden Lindley, 18. Owen German, 9. Bruno Andrade, 20. Tom Jones. Subs: 14. Joel Bailey, 17. Oliver Partington, 15. Jack Chandler, 22. Harrison Howells, 19. Harry Douglas.

Out of the three triallists, Lawton is on our books but out on loan - as is Owen German (who got MOM for Warrington Rylands on Saturday) - and the other two, Lindley and Andrade, have joined other clubs - so there's four positions we need to refill, and I doubt James Jones would feature this time either.

From an outfield point of view I'd expect Burroughs, Wright, Williams and Tom Jones to start again - and possibly McGeady who was missing last time. If Sithole is still with us, I'd expect him to feature, and maybe a couple of the lads that were on the bench last time might come in and start.

Anyone else trying to listen to Radio Robins? For me it's on and off continually. Very frustrating. The commentators are good but no good if we can't hear them.

George Wilson and Matty Kosylo on the scoresheet so far, lovely stuff.

We're getting players back at a great time over the Christmas period, hopefully we don't lose any more.

Radio Robins much better at the end of the half.

Oddly RR has been great tonight, just like the old days.

Sounds like a perfect evening, well gauged selection by the management team.

Bruno Andrade? Are we giving him another trial or something? Very puzzling.

It is puzzling. He started for Chesham United on Saturday.

A very professional performance from a fairly strong team tonight led to a comfortable victory though Stalybridge had their moments, and we didn't quite shut up their irritating loudmouth fan - "Shoot!!" even when it was in their half.

Would have posted last night but fingers were frozen.

Played ok last night, gave away the ball a bit to easily and often tho.

Thought Olly Wright had a good game at 8.

I believe Bruno Andrade plays gir Chestum(?) on saturdays, so lord knows the full story there.

I think it's Chesham. If so, they're at level 4 (same as Stalybridge ironically).

As others said, dominated the game for large periods and a mixed line-up didn't help with cohesion but overall we played well. Matty looked rusty but grew into the first half finishing strongly. Sam played well. Impressed with Wilson, did well. Good to see Regan and Dior scoring, will give confidence.

Thought Howell's cameo was excellent, some neat play and movement against experienced semi-pro's.

Yes. What's happening with him? I notice he's not in the first team squad on the official club website. Is that an error or is he still with us?

I was thinking that too, no mention of him anywhere.
I thought he looked pretty good last night, some good overlapping runs and cutbacks and composed defending. Surprised on that showing that we've not seen more of him. maybe he's been injured?

I was really disappointed with Angus last night, I thought he looked pretty poor against a very average side, thought he would have filled he's boots if he'd shown anywhere near the quality that I think he has.

He is low on confidence, his link up play did lead to some of the other goals. He kept plugging away and got his reward. Not sure Regan was any better? Overall they both did ok.

I realise most on here don't really rate the Senior Cup (I do by the way) but does anyone know who's still left in it and when's the draw for the next round?

Asking for a friend (😂🤣😂)

I’m a fellow CSC geek. So confirmed in the Quarters alongside us are Warrington, Congleton & Cheadle Town. The remaining second round ties all due to be played in the next 2 weeks are Alsager vs Hyde, Nantwich vs Witton, Macc vs Tranmere & finally Barnton vs Crewe. Quarters are due to be played by 27 Jan so assume we’ll know before Christmas who we’ve got in the Quarters. Cheadle away would be nice.

Hyde, Witton & Macc now join us in the Quarters with just the Barnton tie outstanding. No sign of a draw yet. Assume they might wait until all 8 QF are known.
