According to his Wiki page (yes, he has his own Wikipedia page, but that's not the surprising fact) his spell with Altrincham is his longest with any club in his career at 70 games beating his first spell with Telford by two games.

I think overall he has been an asset to us underrated at times
Put it this way he is no piss taker like twiss was

Agreed. He offers physical presence and strength. Quality squad man.

Good asset to the team in my opinion.

Yep. Never a lack of effort.

One thing you can't really argue with either is his goalscoring record - he knows where the net is.
I think he's done well when called upon this season (and I've been one of the detractors in the past).
I'd like him to be (and I suspect he will be) retained beyond the end of the season, as begrudgingly(!) I think LS was right keeping the nucleus of the squad together.
On the other hand I can't foresee Gillespie being retained, but things can change over the course of a couple of months - we'll see. Let's get safe first!

I have always maintained Kyle is an asset to the club.
-
Would like him to be fitter (Cue Hamilton with an 'Ooo-er' or similar) but other than that I think he's been very good for us especially considering his limited game time.

I think the fact he's so massive scared the Gusiely keeper in the play-offs. He clearly didn't want to get clattered!

I suspect he probably brings a lot to the squad off the pitch too, given his character. Having him in the dressing room has probably helped galvanize the squad this season.

In recent weeks when we have been winning and reeves has run him self into the ground perry has come on and done well holding the ball up for 10 or 15 minutes however a Great squad player is well over the top if we were losing or worse reeves was injured I'm not sure he could win us games but as semi pro said he maybe good laugh and help team moral

I wonder if his nickname is Ziebart?

I think team spirit has played a big part in our recent run and I think Kyle is a big part of that.
That said I think Pete Hughes is funny but I wouldn't want him on the bench but I feel that Kyle's ability and footballing brain often get's overlooked or a bit lost in the focus on the ball he didn't chase as he was never going to get there. Less so recently though and he has played an important role. Tends to pull a class goal out of the bag every so often as well so we could be due one soon.
Never lets us down and doesn't take himself too seriously.

Cause everybody knows fat birds don't fly #FunLovinCriminals

He has a beast of a shot on him and defiantly knows where the goal is, albeit he doesn't necessarily score a lot. Deffo worth his squad player status in my opinion
-
so has anyone been surprised yet or just think he plays football ?

Kyle has important parts to play in our squad, especially when protecting our slender leads. He has a tendency to put himself about a bit. Also holds up play, wins free kicks and takes pressure off the defence in doing so. When he was playing against us, it was very frustrating, but now he is for us I am often damn glad he does it!!
Agree with his challenge on the keeper against Guisley, keeper cocked up when Kyle bore down on him. Came very close to my earlier in the season prediction, that somehow Kyle may score the winner that gets us promoted in my minds eye vision. This man still has a lot to offer the club.
The Kyle Perry fact did surprise me, I like the guy and he is good to have around, both for us and the players. Would'nt mind seeing his band play in the Community Centre with Masha too, how about it guys??
By the way, we got a new gold-fish last week, he has been named Masha. The other fish used to bully our recently deceased goldfish, but this one doesn't take any crap!! Spot the connection.

We saw how good are squad players Kyle and Gillespie are at changing games yesterday

In both cases they came on far too late to have any impact.

Because the manager can't trust them to change a game atleast with perry he can help you keep a lead which is more than Gillespie but not enough
