They have played and beaten some fancied teams in the last few weeks, after a shaky start to the season they now play a system that they are comfortable with. Solid at the back and tenacious in the midfield with the two live wires of Senior and Little up front they will cause plenty of clubs a problem.. keep it going Alty.

i went to the match yesterday (my first visit to a first team game at moss lane for over 10 years ) and though the first half was a bit like watching a game of head tennis , in the second when alty began to play on the floor they were superb . colin little is like pele and it will be a lot sooner than 10 years before i visit again - my only criticism of the day was they must have had the 2 slowest bar staff i have ever seen in the clubhouse before the match ?

Sometimes it's not the prettiest of football but it does have some heart to it. Your right about the speed of service, hope you took note of the crowd sidestepping and shuffling over towards to clubhouse 5 mins before halftime. You'll know for your next visit, get in the queue as soon as that door opens... winkeye

I think there is plenty to take here.

Mainly that we should sacrifice some quality in the standard of bar service and replace it with quantity. With crowds bustling as we climb the league the economics of demand and supply will mean that people no longer want service with a smile they simply want service full stop.

How long before we invest in one of those things they have at prem grounds that makes 12 pints in a tray at once?
