Not much of 'em, but JJ's goal just came from nowhere! Extraordinary!

One of the fringe benefits of getting promoted is actual footage of our away games again. Such a shame many quality away goals last season would never have been properly recorded. Saying that the footage there not a patch on Alty TV.
-
its great that we have the camera on the touchline to give the close up replays.

O
Saying that the footage there not a patch on Alty TV.
I thought it was poor. No replays, and seemed at times to have been shot from a field over the road ! And they're supposed to be a big club at this level.
Another reason to be proud to be Alty.

If you had just been dicked by a part time club and made to look inferior im guessing there media team didnt want to put to much effort in to it
-
We have to be patient Alty TV takes some beating and no poor footage can take away the quality of our win. Ok Southport might not be the best they have ever been but the quality of our football in the first 2 games bodes well

To be fair these highlights are edited by (or for) Pitchero rather than Southport. Compare the editing of the Leamington game in the Alty TV site: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3C1rSb8WCY&t=3s to that on Pitchero http://www.thenationalleague.org.uk/club-info/517565 using the same gantry camera footage.
They have very different objectives - ours is more about the story of the game where theirs gives a quickly paced overview using a somewhat blunt editing knife.
The reason why you might see a wider view of proceedings than we are used to is that the footage provided to the league serves two functions which are often at crossed purposes; firstly to provide the supporters with entertainment in the form of the Pitchero edit and second to provide analysis on a separate, limited access performance platform which prefers a wider shot (so that player positioning can be analysed). Hope this helps explain things but feel free to stop me for a chat if you'd like a more detailed breakdown of the filming requirement of the National League this season.

Thanks for the explanation - very helpful.
