And the story also got onto Sunday night's Headliners on GBNews!
So that’s another 75 people who are aware of the story.

Oh dear!

Story on the (hardly irreproachable) BBC too. If this prat wanted to cause a stir, he has certainly succeeded. I just hope any sanctions coming his way represent the seriousness of what he has done. The idiot who disrupted the Solihull Moors game last season got a life ban as I recall. This though I would say is rather more serious, though I can't think offhand what more could be done unless the law get involved.

I'm no legal expert, but I suspect that spiking a drink could lead to a custodial sentence.

Including with urine, I wonder? I can see the scene now as his lawyer argues for the health benefits of urine, and argues that that Dutch player who spat at a German merely got sent off...

He should be put into a boxing ring for ten minutes with Tony.

He could receive a ban for all sorts of reasons and a fine for entering the pitch. As regards the bottle swapping, then there has to be some punishment for that, but easier to fine him heavily for encroachment and award Tony damages at a value that the law sees fit

It looks like the offender has been dobbed in. They are still trying to identify accomplices.

Theft of a water bottle.
Outraging public decency.

Two possible charges to start with.

That Is possibly a mitigating factor. Having pished in it I doubt he'll get to far with that.

(Alleged?) footage has now emerged of the incident and is being used by multiple sources:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=80iKFgV79Mg

From this, it appears that at least two people witnessed the incident and did nothing about it, which to me is also concerning, although to be fair they may not have known what was in the replacement bottle.

Guiseley did say something, when they banned the main individual from future home and away matches, about seeking his accomplices and taking "necessary action". I would have thought anybody filming this and posting it on You Tube would count as an accomplice.

They put the evidence they have in the hands of the police.
I suppose it will be a while before the dust will settle.
