A game we simply can't lose we desperately need the money and confidence

We need some additions this week to help with the extensive injury list

And the dross that should never be allowed to pull our shirt on again

Well, I took my daughter to her student digs right by Wembley yesterday, and some time next year I'll have to go back and collect her kit. So that's one Alty fan going to Wembley twice in one season.

As for this tie, please please let's just get any sort of an Alty win.

Whilst I agree that we may not be exactly favourites to have any cup run of any significance this year, threads with titles like this may be counter-productive. Do we really want the new manager and the team to think that we have given up on them before they start?

It's been a horrible few months, and few people (both fans and those working for the club) have bathed themselves in glory...and it is quite ok to criticise where criticism is due...but lets try and show them team that we are with them.

Anyway..had a few beers tonight..but this is how i feel.

have you not listened to the Harvey interview after Gloucester? https://m.soundcloud.com/radio-robins/jim-harvey-interview-post-gloucester-city

Think he sums it up pretty well

this ^^ I do think jock was a little tounge in cheek maybe ? Also it's on the terraces we have to do all we can to support .. but let's be honest nothing we say on here will or won't make players close others down and put effort in . That's way beyond our powers as the fans

If that's the team (and they can all get through the game unscathed), then we at least have a chance.

Given who looks like being available, this what I'd go with.
Hope we can get 2 goals clear for the first time this season.

Wouldn't go as far as to say I'm looking forward to it, but feel I tad more positive than I have for a while

Seen a great video on Twitter of the winner going in, the roar was brilliant!

Now one week before the next game, hopefully some more defenders fit by then and £4500 in the bank.

I honestly think today we have turned the corner.

Big far gut feel is to agree with you. Bag a few league wins and up the table we go.

Dead chuffed with the win especially as it seems the game had gone near the end, agree this should be the catalyst to move us on. Sadly the 500 odd gate and shared as it is too, the £4500 to me just replaces what we would have had if we were doing ok and had 1000 in the ground. Just being realistic, I don't know what it costs the club to hold a home fixture.

We actually won a game, so pleased as punch. Let's not kid ourselves that it was great though - two poor teams and we were only in it thanks to Andy Dawber's save at 1 down. Corner not turned until we get defenders back and bring in a ball winner in the middle and a partner for Reevesy. But all in all, we played well from the point we equalised and as others have said, it's 4.5K in the bank.

Sorry, just as an aside, does anyone know how the old fella is who collapsed just before half time?
