Saturday
« on: March 19, 2014, 09:56:59 PM »

The 22nd March date represents a major milestone in our history.  On  this date in 1965 we beat Macc Town 3-2 in the Cheshire League Cup with two goals from an attacking midfielder making his debut, Jackie Swindells.

A true turning point in the history of the club.

Here here.  I was 12 back in 1965 and was really pleased to be able to chat with him again a few years back at the kiddy match.  Sadly missed but so many great memories

ABeing my usual very wary self, when I look @ the league table, the only thing is that Workington & Histon can no longer catch us. So any position from 1st - 20th will do. However, beat Gainsborough Trinity & 2 more will drop out of the chase. All the best Saturday, listening to every word on Radio Robins, hope to be back in the near future.
