I am reliably informed that it will be their proper first team too, not just reserves and youth team players.

Should be a great occasion and hopefully the club will make a good few quid from it too.

That's somewhat open to interpretation.

They play a strong team against Oxford. No reason why we shouldn't see one at Moss Lane.

Not quite the response we were looking for I fear.  Lets not let 20 idiots from Stretford ruin it.

One of the biggest clubs in the world has just agreed a contract with us  and agreed to send a team at a time when the first team are not away...they have promised a very strong lineup.

Should bring a lot of people from Manchester in as they will get to see united at an affordable price, good moneyspinner and although i do no not promote it, will tolerate a few "hooligans" if it means we get a few bob

Brilliant stuff. Like a few others I follow United as well as Alty. Whilst I was disgusted by the behaviour of the muppets last time (it seems the whole of United's idiot rump turned out that day), I think this should be a great occasion. You never know, it might get a few of the Big Time Charlies interested in non league.

Great stuff, should be a fantastic day and hopefully no repeat of the trouble we saw last time.

Not the point really.....I have the same feeling about Liverpool but I would welcome them with open arms if it meant they were bringing cash into the club. Whether its a strong team or not.. the mere fact that they have kindly agreed to send a team is a bonus and should be welcomed as such.....

Unfortunatly the group responsible are still bragging about this incident on youtube, came across it the other day when searching for altrincham clips

I was rather surprised to see a picture of those muppets in the Mansfield programme last week with the caption "joy on the pitch" in the section on Alty!!!!!!!

Hooligans should never be "tolerated"  especially in a bloody freindly IMO, didnt people choose to stay away from the fc united game after the Man Utd freindly last season?

i spoke to one of the sad scrotes that so called "Terrorised  us" that day and they see us a a fairground its just not on,

whilst i agree with ecky it would be nice to let bye gones and all that, they need stamping out some how, how can we stop this happening again?
