Phil... The alternative is to do nothing.. If thats the case then we could be looking at Conf North football again.

Loanees are not the ideal solution, however,  the current injury situation and the preference for the current manager's preference to run with a small squad is dictating the need to take action of some sort.

To ignore the current shortage of fit players isnt an option...

All fair points Phil, and most people are aware of them but if you got a right back, midfielder or right winger in now they'd play every week regardless.

One other factor in the loan equation - some young players' agents have in the past been known to attempt to dissuade them from accepting a placement with a Conference club, or a part-time club, because it allegedly 'doesn't look good on their CV'. This may no longer be the case, but ought to be mentioned.

So your preposterous and I suggest entirely personal crusade against the Manager (or is it the whole Club? Please elucidate) continues Jamie?

Are you REALLY trying to suggest that the Manager has no contacts and that he sits at home all day watching Jeremy Kyle and re runs of Quincey and Morse? If so then you are even more deluded than I thought.

The search for players to come in continues

Ray,

I never said that we shouldn't go down the loan route, I was merely identifying some of the problems entailed therein and Royton Mike added another which i believe still prevalent

At least he's seen Kyle, Quincey and Morse in action though.

I hope that we don't award Morse a contract though, as he limps and is clearly carrying an injury.

Isn't Morse playing for "Lewes?"

I acknowledge you were identifying possible pitfalls of the loan system Phil and I appreciate it isnt ideal.
In our situation any loanee would play anyway through necessity rather than displacing a regular fit first teamer.

When I read the word Ky!e I thought we had resigned him !!!!!
