Match of The Day Coverage should be decent!!
« on: November 09, 2007, 05:27:42 PM »

There are only three Premier League games on tomorrow & we are the only FA Cup game scheduled to have extended highlights. The commentator for our game is Martin Fisher & fortunately there is no danger of either Hanson or Lawrenson slagging us off as the pundits are Garth Crooks, Gavin Peacock & Carlton Palmer with the programme being hosted by Ray Stubbs.

In terms of 5 Live Coverage the reporter at Moss Lane is Steve Lee & other FA Cup games that are to be featured are:

Rushden & Diamonds v Macclesfield Town
Hampton & Richmond v Dagenham & Redbridge
Barrow v Bournemouth
Billericay Town v Swansea City

The cameras were originally planned to be underneath the roof of the main stand where Sky had them for the Huddersfield Town FA Cup match in 1990 (I remember watching Andy Gray tentatively climbing down a very big set of ladders after the game) but the scaffolders were not happy with this & they will therefore be above the popular side.

I hope this is of some interest to all Alty fans
