TICKET SALES

Although the Altrincham FC ticket office remains open this evening, hopes of a bumper gate at Moss Lane for Saturday's FA Cup game with Millwall are unlikely to be realised as the Lions have reported total ticket sales at their end of just 302. Combined with Altrincham's own sales, it looks like a gate of around 2,200 is likely. Tickets CANNOT be bought at the the turnstiles tomorrow.
On the positive side, this will still be Alty's best gate of the season so far, so there should be a good atmosphere.

300 that is pretty bad for a club that gets 6-7000 at home for any game let alone the FA cup ???
Lets home we can break the 2000 barrier tonight.

With all the surrounding bollocks its pretty obvious but I never thought we'd have been better off getting Exeter or someone in our league, I  bet Workington would have brought 400 for the FA Cup first round.

I think there's a bit of Oxford mentality on their part whereby they don't travel that well north of Birmingham. Strange I know, but the fact they are gash away from home probably doesn't help either. Combine that with a week of press hysteria and Tesco bullsh*tting in addition to our poor home form and 2,200 probably seems about right. The people who count are the people who will be there cheering the lads on. We are capable of making 2,200 sound like far more and we must ensure the players get the backing they deserve.

COME ON ALTY!!!!

I did warn you we would struggle to sell more than 300. Our away support has been terrible the past few years.

what are the chances of them opening a ticket office before kick off, selling them in the bar before the match?
I'm sure some pople might have a change of heart come saturday morning.

As has already been discussed elsewhere, this is not possible. Out of the club's hands.
