There were a few Alty flat-cappers sat around but one in particular was getting more and more worked up regarding the misfortune of his heroes going 5-1 down. It erupted big-time in the final quarter of the game. Never have I seen more high octane 'F'ing and blinding in such an open and blatant manner. This old timer was telling everyone to F*ck Off, the people sat behind him, kids politely asking if they could squeeze past him to get to the toilet, the referee, the linesman, a bloke with a bald head stood down on the terrace (who was also called a Bald Headed B*stard at least 5 times in 5 minutes) and needless to say, all of the Stalybridge players. He was so out of control to such a deranged degree that even his fellow flat-cappers tried to quieten him down (without much success). It was a top performance and had most people in stitches.

funny for some, and we all get angry from time to time but this went too far years ago.

He should be fitted with a straight jacket and muzzle.

At least he got the Alty scorer right.

We have got to do something about Dennis. Any suggestions?

The club banning him from Moss Lane will solve the problem of home games.
For away games, there's nothing the club or anyone on here can do apart from trying to reason with him.

Erm Banning order?

You can ban him from being within X miles of wherever Altrincham are playing

Ah yes, I just looked up banning orders on the home office website and it says this:

"Banning orders are issued by the courts following a conviction of a football-related offence, or after a complaint by the Crown Prosecution Service or a local police force or the Alty fans forum. For an order to be issued, it must be proved that the accused person has caused or contributed to football-related violence or disorder and that an order will prevent them from misbehaving further."

I made up part of that quote.

We could have sent him into our dressing room during half-time at Stalybridge as a motivational coach.

My initial response to this is to ask what we would do if it were a much younger person who behaved in this way? In my opinion he is treated more leniantly because of his age and the same goes for his brother (who is an altogether more twisted and deeply unpleasant individual).

I have stated in the past that Dennis is a pleasant person outside of a football setting, but this cannot excuse the kind of behaviour that he's been guilty of time and time again. His brother is an downright nasty piece of work and should have been banned years ago.

I think a slight correction is needed here. Dennis is a pleasant person outside of a football setting, and even in a football setting if his team wins. When they don't, mayhem.

Unfortunately I've witnessed Dennis being totally obnoxious and unpleasant to opposition fans even after we've won games in the past.
