Guys Stop ringing George, he has just fielded his 35th call from me. The game is on. It is only a surface frost and has not gone into the ground. There is not even a pitch inspection today.

It looks like Chester are going to be able to play in Halifax today. Hopefully, they will take a battering from the Shaymen.

I think it was a travesty that the game went ahead today, on a pitch that was clearly unplayable for at least one of the teams involved.
