I SAID their keeper was dodgy !
Totally bossed the second half. Mullarkey and Lundstram were outstanding but my MOM was Simon Richman. Every club needs a play anywhere man.
First piece of business has to be trying to get Lundstram on a full season loan.

3 games down in the west country for me
-
Absolutely brilliant!!
-
Way to go you super red and whites, back where we should be ;D
-
Fantastic second half - can’t imagine what Parky said to them, but we’ve seen it so many times - a poor first half and a totally different team second half. Anyhow, roll on Weymouth - back to the 80s when we enjoyed quite a few weekends sampling the local beer!!!! Hopefully we will be able to travel there!!!
-
Well done Alty deserved, FTFC fan.
-
Going up.
-
Fantastic. Again. What a team ;D ;D

Since Phil and Neil walked in the door we've barely taken a backward glance. Two promotions in three years! Let that settle in first and THEN reflect on the mess they found, on and off the pitch. An outstanding achievement.
Proud.
Phil, Neil and all the players have brought joy and pride to Trafford within days of tightened lockdown.
Thank you Altrincham FC. Thank you.

when do the fixtures come out ;D
Good to see Grahame giving out the medals
-
Can't believe this!!!!😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😎

I thought we were dreadful today, we need a whole new team. Best team lost, Boston were far superior.
-
JUST TEASING. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Stressful day at work getting furtive glances of my mobile phone hoping none of my bosses noticed!
My joyful congratulations to the team, the management and the board. It has been a couple of seasons where - top to bottom - we have seen such great strides in the club's development. With players who would bleed for the time and amongst the top management team in non-league, I would suggest we have a decent future ahead of us!
Truly overjoyed! Thank you Alty FC!

Woo, so happy tonight even though could not be there.
Fantastic achievement, congratulations to us all.
-
Just a quick note to say, I'm an Alty fan and loving it today. Thanks to Phil, Neil and the boys 🍻
-
Really well done to all at Alty, a brilliant outcome to a truncated season due to desperate times.
I can’t wait to the times when the fans are allowed back it will be great to watch Alty with a decent number of away fans present, all bringing much needed income to the club.
Well done to Phil, Neil et al on getting us back to where we belong.
Cmon Alty

I never thought that (a) the playoffs would actually take place and (b) that we would win them, although we do have a good record in playoffs. I am still in shock.
With nouveau riche AFC Fylde coming down, and traditional strong non-League clubs like ourselves, Weynouth and Wealdstone all going up, it does feel like a balance has been reset.

Get in boys

Just had to pinch myself this morning to make sure yesterday wasn't a dream! Fantastic effort by everyone involved throughout the whole campaign. Playing 2 of the 3 games away the odds must have been stacked against us but "if your name is on it"........ We were much improved during the second half. Question, did we raise our game? did Boston put too much into the first half and tire? or was it a combination?
Congratulations to Phil, Neil, all the backroom boys and of course our fine players!
I will bet that George Heslop was clapping up there! SBL

Well played lads/ everybody. Thoroughly deserved. If the season hadn't been curtailed Alty would've won the league. Weren't we still to play five of the top six (all at home except York, which is a pools panel away win) most of whom we've beat in the last three weeks? 5 x 6 pointers = 30 points.
Please, fellow fans, don't go overboard about new players n' that, full-time regime etc. This squad won promotion, this squad have earned a go in the National League. (This squad includes Josh Lundstrom). Don't need no other blokes.
If y'think I'm wrong tell me which Alty player you could look in the eye and say "you're not wanted anymore".
Viva Aliy. This Alty.

As well as the players have done, it’s very naive to think we can go into a higher division against much better quality teams with exactly the same set of players-and a season that involves significantly more travelling & will see more games squeezed into a shorter time frame due to C-19 either so naturally you’ll want a bigger squad. I would expect a significant majority of them to stay yes but we will have a retained list I’m sure to make room for incomings & with many of our games being long distance aways that will require overnight stays & some time off work there may be some who don’t wish to commit to that as we saw with James Walshaw in 2014, which is fair enough. We certainly need another centre forward & extra competition at CB to begin with but I’m sure they’ll be more.

JUST TEASING. ;D ;D ;D ;D
teasing hurts

Yes, I agree. My take on the nlp interview was that the manager wanted progress in this area sooner rather than later. As I said, it depends on finances but look what he's done for us all in the past three seasons! I believe we should trust his judgement on the future and the squad. He clearly knows what he's doing.
Also, talking about who might be going on here is very unhelpful and we should be concentrating on who he's given deals to and signed up.
I also think we might be surprised at how many of the squad would jump at the chance to be a 'bit more' than part time.

When Phil and Neil joined we were totally broken . They healed us and some . Amazing . Bravo
