We need to start getting back to backing the manager and the players for saturday,maybe a result can come out of adversity.maybe it will be some players last chance to prove their worth.Luckily with the transfer window now being open, we can hope GH has some players lined up that can come in for the new years day game. We mustnt abandond the cause, and the same 500 that went to vics last year on a tuesday night, must be in attendance again this year.

Also after a lot of thought, I would change things on saturday, and I'd have the two men that kept manchester unitd at bay a couple as year back as my centre back pair, thoughts on this line up?

A little weak up front perhaps but the formation could be fluid to play 4-3-3 with moving Joe upfront.

The obvious answer for me is we need to be tighter at the back and playing players in their best positions is vital. Peyton, whilst not a defender, is clearly in my opinion the best left back we have.

Yeah, the conference and FA are both open until at least 3pm on New Years Eve, and as far as I am aware, that is so you can register new players in time for the following days fixtures.

Why are people contnuing to push for logan to start? he hides in games  and has given nothing in his time here so far except a couple of crosses against oxford.And he simply cannot read the game, he switches off when the ball isnt at his feet.

Spent most of the game hiding on Wednesday and was ineffective when he did have the ball.

I dont think Logan should start games Hughesy. I said as much on Boxing Day to you.

But, at the moment we have no real options with injuries and suspensions. Logan on the left from the start in my mind is a better overall proposition for a one off game and keeping the rest of the team stronger.

The other option is to put Warren on the left and we have a sh*te left back, but teams are constantly attacking our left side at present knowing we are clueless there.

As I said a stronger defence is more important to me at present.

can logan play left back. I took my mate to watch alty a while back and he said he remembers Logan playing at city, be he always thought he was a left back.
