One point more than I expected, to be honest - let's be duly grateful for that point.

Pleased with the result today- good spirit to come from one down.

At the start of the week I expected to win in midweek and lose today - three points, however we got just the two so I feel a bit glum on that front but more positive as surely the injuries will stop piling up and we'll get more names available to pick from.

Any result other than a loss has to be a good effort at The International Stadium. Well done lads and well done to the travelling faithful

Expected nothing today from one of our real unhappy hunting grounds, great to hear the lads come home with a point, swings and roundabouts with regards to the stoppage time equaliser. Let's take this forward and get Chester beaten next week and right last years FA cup calamity

A good result for Alty and a great game, especially from the time of Alty's double substitution in the second half onwards. On the walk out to the coach and the way hone a Gateshead supporter stopped us to say we deservedd 3 points and were very much the better team.

He maybe been generous. They were better for 75 mins but our 15 minutes of fame were very very effective. I can't complain at a draw, as much a kick in a bollocks the oh so obvious equaliser was

Quite possibly but all the same it was good of him to admit it. I'm not sure I'd share your split of the action though. Alty played very much better than that in my eyes and had quite a few very close chances that could have easily added to the score on another day.

Agree about the kick in the bollocks at the end though, but I have to admit I was sort of expecting it. A point away there is good enough for me though.

Well, if maybe we were fortunate to get a last minute leveller on Tuesday so it was vice versa today.

A good point at a difficult venue.  A 1-0 win in the Cup next week, please, then the plan should be (with some injured players returning) to amass nine points from Torquay (H), Macclesfield (A), Bromley (A), Boreham Wood (H) and Forest Green (A).
