Since the league has officially suspended all fixtures until at least April 3rd and this will of course probably last for longer, would it be beneficial to set up a donation site for anyone that wants to donate the amount of money they'd normally pay for their ticket to help the club through this unstable and financially difficult time?
-
This is a good idea, but will take time to set up. In the mean time I’d suggest that anyone who doesn’t enter the monthly draw does so. It’s only about a pound a week, £5 a month on a standing order it’s easy and will help the club greatly during this period. Simply fill in a form and take it to your bank. And send the form to the club. It’ll take ten minutes of
Your day and will be vitally important

I’m sure it could even be set up by phoning the club 01619281045

Some will already be a member of the Alty Rewards scheme and donate monthly to the club via direct debit, I do myself and there’s various different levels of money you can transfer depending on your own circumstances. Given this is already established i assume this would be one of the simpler ways for the club to plug a small part of the gap over the next few months.

Thank you all for your generosity - and please find a link to our latest update on COVID-19, which does indeed refer to Alty Rewards.

Just as importantly, it refers to how we will be helping the local community and doing our bit for our sponsors too

Barnet have laid off none playing staff because the parachute payments are coming to an end, this is a convenient excuse to dispatch them

£3900 up to now.
Well done to all
-
Just tried to donate some money but the page came back with"There is a problem with the organisers account"
-
Our fans are unbelievable - we are over £4000 now! Our sponsors have been strong too; and there is an article on the website about Manchester Glass, and how (and why) they support the club. Thank you all for your support at this difficult time. Stay well
-
That man Showler - let me take a look and come back to you.
EDIT - just tried to donate £5 and was successful; it might have been a network problem first time. Please have another go and see if it works
-
Hopefully this will continue once the 10k is reached preferably until the new season begins

Hi all,
For those not on Twitter I thought I'd share that Kings of the Golf Road have made a donation of £175 to the fund. It's around 40% of the profit we've accrued from product sales during our short existence.
Supporting our products helps us to do this at times of need so thank you to everyone who's purchased a badge or hat. We'll be back when the football returns.
Thanks,
Andrew, Jack & Dec

Just to add in, the remaining money is earmarked for a flag (Densmore Jr and Sr) and to support pre-ordering the next product.
Thanks to all that bought KGR001 and KGR002

Thank you Kings of Golf Road for your donation, and for your fund raising efforts so far!
Your flag is very timely as Dens proves his legendary status by donating to the cause, as those of you on twitter will have seen

A briliant response from our fans to get us to the verge of £16k - absolutely humbled by this magnificent performance. We will be keeping it going and thank you in advance Back Roads. A big thank you also to Ian Senior for his delve into the history books of "what might have been" kit options.
What a team we have - on and off the field, and on the terraces, in the stands and the cohort of remote supporters.
As Brian Flynn points out, one year ago we were at Alfreton - and what a day out that was. Although if I recall one of us was not too impressed by the performance as he slept through the second half!

No sooner do I post our progress when in comes Duncan Watmore with a donation of £750! Thank you Duncan - amazing contribution from our most heralded alumnus.
-
Let’s try and push on for twenty grand now
-
almost at 17000 now

Absolutely outstanding from Duncan Watmore, but from everyone who has donated and/opr promoted this vital fundraising initiative.
As well as sharing w2ith my FB friends, I have also shared with several club and town related FB Groups, and each time this has seen a spike in donations.
What I would urge everyone to do is to share the details of the initiative with your own FB friends and also any groups that may be relevant.
For example, if anyone is on a City or United fans forum - then it is worth sharing on there as well - you might get a few comments but it would be worth it is we get a few more donations as well.
This initiative needs to be kept going for as long as possible, and we can all play a part in it's continuing success and in safeguarding the future of our club.

When we hear about premiership players holding gatherings etc I would just like to offer my upmost respect for Duncan Watmore's donation and everyone else who has contributed. My donation will be forthcoming. SBL
