Blackburn Rovers managing director Derek Shaw has been told to stay away from Ewood Park during an investigation into the compensation owed to former boss Henning Berg.

On Wednesday Shaw received notice of the disciplinary inquiry in a letter. Berg, who was sacked in late December, says he is owed approximately £2m and has taken his claim to the High Court.

Global advisor Shebby Singh will fly to India on Thursday for meetings with owners Venky's to discuss the matter."

What's in that for Lee?  Closer to home? Nope. Higher placed team? Yep, but marginal.  Stable club? No. Bigger club? No.

Nah,  Lee will move onto bigger things than Alty at some point, but that won't involve Macclescum I'm sure.

The topic comes back to the top and they appoint a manager in Askey!! Couldn't get who they wanted so kept the caretaker on?? Efe Sodje has left Bury to be assistant.

Conference Premier side Macclesfield Town appoint John Askey as their new permanent manager. Askey took caretaker charge of the club's final five league games last season after the dismissal of Steve King. Askey will be assisted by ex-Nigeria defender Efe Sodje, who recently left Bury and played for the Silkmen for two years during the 1990s.
