The above item is a pic of an Alty 2nd XI in China. Did an Alty team tour China in the 1920s?

Possibly. Wasn't our first team was in America whipping the locals? I think that's what started their 'Great Depression'! 

The early ones had a straight pin with a clip on stopper which used to fall off. Then the remodelled design had a traditional long pin which swivelled into a half round loop.

I think it was actually a tie-pin with a long straight needle style pin at the back.

Yes. Got home to find that FGR have been relegated (provisionally, of course, pending Mr Peake's machinations to come) and it really too the edge off my (slight) disappointment today.

I'm hoping for a repeat of 1967 (Still one of my favourite matches - despite it being a 'friendly') but any win would do me fine (coupled with favourable results from the Kiddie and Wrexham games of course)
