Who do we want then?
For me, it's got to be Macc but at home. Get them over to our place, pack the place out and get them seen off. I'd rather not give them home advantage for this one.
-
Ashton United, Leek or Marine at home please. Although we are now at that stage that most clubs in the draw will want to avoid us.
-
My head is telling me, Leek at home but my heart is saying, Macc anywhere.
-
Lots from tier 8 in the hat for the draw
Leek Town
Biggleswade Town
Sheppy Island
Cray Valley Paper Mills
Ramsgate
Frome Town
I’d be happy with any of these at home 🏡
-
I am going to predict Chester Away ;D

Is it not still regional at this stage ?
-
It is still regional at this stage lads.
-
I am going to predict Chester Away ;D
That's fine for us! 👍 😀😀
-
We all know it's Chester at home.
-
PS. We're in Ithaka this week so you can thank me for the Oxford win and it's looking good for Tuesday as well! 😉
-
Chester would be great, they only scraped by yesterday against Nantwich.
-
Gateshead away
-
Gateshead away
That has crossed my mind, one seasons visit to that ground is more than enough thank you.
-
Any of the balls between numbers 13-30 please at home…
I note the south region have a slight advantage having 4 extra teams from outside the national league as potential opposition with balls 13-34
-
Kidderminster away
-
What's the longest journey we could make with an away draw? That's who we'll draw. Just getting a negative vibe about it somehow.
-
The FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round draw will be made at around 3.15pm today on talkSPORT 2.
Don't want Chesterfield or Gateshead away

Needham Market if they get through their replay. Only 237 miles in the Northern Region (sarcasm)

Oldham at home

FULL HOUSE

Two evenly matched teams going head to head
Possibilities of been live on TV

Do they show live TV games at this stage? - I thought it was just the BBC doing a 'featured game' you could stream, if that's what you mean.
I think they usually still go for the small team v big team formula; in that sense something like Horsham v Dorking could appeal given they're geographically close.
-
The earlier rounds were shown on BBC I player.
-
I hope it’s not on TV and we pack the park. No excuses!
-
Think they might choose Hereford v Rochdale
-
Hopefully not on tv. Keep our powder dry for big pay at in later rounds. Please let us get to later rounds!
-
This has got TV all over it for me. Either way I expect a great turnout.
-
The BBC love anything Hereford-related at this stage of the competition, therefore given it's also Rochdale's first season coming down to this level they might go for that.
-
The FA website states it’s on the weekend of the 14th so some matches could even be pushed to the Sunday? Just a thought? Lastly the beeb won’t just have 1 match, they will more than likely have an early morning, afternoon and evening as per their usual listings.
-
Doubt they'd have that for a qualifying round? My guess is it'll be one game picked from the whole draw, normally lowest left in the competition.
Perhaps Fylde V Leek or more likely Chesterfield V Kettering. They may even go down the route of showing Southend after what's been happening there. Our game will be well down the pecking order.

Agreed, not sure why people think they'd have multiple games on for a qualifying round. I'll be one featured game on red button, which won't be us.
-
Intriguing tie this & quite hard to call, although I’d make us slight favourites with home advantage though doubtless they’ll bring a large support. Two big league games before then mind.

My theory (to answer your query), No Premiership/Championship games all weekend. England/international matches being played Friday 13th & Tuesday 17th Oct gives BBC, ITV and other services a great opportunity to showcase as much FA cup coverage as possible. It’s only an educated guess but why not?

Nothing to do with us, but Chelmsford City won their replay tonight, which means Whitby have to go down there... in a regionalised round.
-
Ties with more neutral appeal with us:
- Hereford v Rochdale - 'smaller' team at home, Hereford's history in the competition, Rochdale's first tie at this level.
- Stourbridge v Gateshead - 2 levels apart, smaller team at home, Gateshead one of the highest ranked teams in the draw
- Horsham v Dorking - 2 levels apart, smaller team at home, 'derby' appeal... although can Dorking be considered an attractive enough 'big fish'?
- Yeovil v Southend - 'smaller' team at home, two fallen giants... given Southend's plight, this has a very strong chance of being selected
- Bracknell v Dagenham - 2 levels apart, smaller team at home... just doesn't hold as much intrigue as others listed above
I agree that we'll probably be slight favourites, particularly given I think they'll probably want to continue to focus on climbing back up the league and I don't think they'll value the paycheques as much as others would. I just hope the weather improves by then as it's currently absolutely tipping it down here!
-
I think the Alty v Oldham game is higher profile with 2 localish teams playing against one another, it wouldn't surprise me if the Beeb take an interest in the game.

Weather's lovely here in Ithaka! 😉
-
I think that the Alty v Oldham game has as much chance as any of the others of beIng shown. It will be cast as 'former Top Flight Premier Leaguers meet former prolific record Giant-Killers'... no wait on... what Is this?... EuroSmakufussball.com have obtained broadcasting rights to the game. EuroSmaku cater exclusively for the population of Tuvalu and have announced that the game will now kick off at 02:30am on Monday 23rd 2023.

That's the last thing I expected.

Is the commentary going to be in English or Tuvaluan?

Brackley v D&R has been selected

Maybe this on the BBC website is going to be completed with a full schedule? 3 matches on the Saturday and 1 on the Sunday. But might just be replays of the one selected match???

Can you feel it? I can feel it.
Maxi Oyedele: "Hey Gaffer, When can I go back to Alty?"
Gaffer: "How about at the beginning of the New Year?"
Maxi: "Cool, as long as I get registered before the 3rd Round of the FA Cup"
Gaffer: "You can feel it can't you"
Maxi: "Yeah, I can feel it"

I see Justin Donowa will miss the cup game due to international call up
-
Does this game go to a replay if level after 90 mins? No extra time or pens?

Yes, there would be a replay.

Replay I think.
Only scrapped from around the quarter finals onwards.

I thought it was a joint decision between the two teams?

Someone raised a good point on Facebook...
We know about Justin Donawa's absence, however what's the status on our other loanees, Ethan Ross and Alex Newby?
Hopefully they'll both be cleared by their parent clubs to play, but we know what Stockport can be like.
