justin bowler?

why dont we just release bowler, he isn't getting in the first team and it sounds like he isn't doing much for the reserves, he just wasting money, that we could use on a much better player. my overall opinion of bowler is a waste of space!
what do all you's think?

We would have to pay off his contract. Apparently he was asked if he wanted this & he declined.

Either he wanted the cushy guarenteed income or he wants to stay to prove himself.

I hope (& would like to think) its the latter.

Well it must be he wants to stay to prove himsel because IF he has ben offered to have his contract paid up why would he not take it, earn the same money but not have to train or turn up on match days is certainly a better option ?

true, he is literally being payed to just train and sit and watch the first team, beacuse everytime i get there for a game he is always just sat in the stand watching the other lads warm up, but at the last home game i was amazed as justin bowler was running round the pitch ;)

We would have to pay him to release him.

So its just better to wait until his contract runs out at the end of the season

??? :P

We have to pay him his weekly wage anyway. The pay off is only the rest of his wages. i.e all at once instead of weekly.

From what I heard, Justin did not want it on his CV he had his contract terminated - it might stop BPA signing him up for next season!

Seriously I think his career at Alty is over, it's just a case of him seeing out his contract, which I guess would run to the end of May or June?
