The footballers brain is still there, but the legs have gone.

Not there, wouldn't waste my money and time but sounds like he pulled him down. Only a week when dragged off because every ball looked as if it would go past him. Jim isn't learning too, he will say he went for experience which is fine but Goodall's legs have gone. The season was messed up when people spoke of James Lawrie as our best player, the lad has bags of talent but is weak, crap at corners and lazy, however he has a goal in him. This is just the worst time of being an Alty fan in 28 years of watching them. We have no pace or energy in the team, we can't pass, our movement is poor and always central. What the hell has happened sine Colchester? Heartbreaking. More than anything we need pace over the entire park. Who's our quickest player? Paterson? Scary. Pace and energy means attacks, closing down, getting back, going past man. We are a slow and clueless team of boys. Fuming and I have actually given up. Personally I would get Clee back and enquire about Havern's contract. How we didn't offer Leather, a young defender 350 a week and gave Hattersely over 400 is sickening.

Goodall seems like an utter liability to me. Mind you, nobody else is exactly shining at the moment either. Thoroughly depressing!

I think it was the 5th goal against Fylde and just before half time. Their big striker just walked through Goodall to score and I thought we were in a bit of bother. One of the strangest things of the season is that he has been consistently selected, and at centre half. Bizarre.

Goodall won't be playing for the next 3 games.

Sadly he will only miss one match. He should be out the door immediately.
