I think the current top five could break away soon and we need to start winning to keep up with them

Even Stockport's recent form is better than ours.

Shame Luca's header came back off the post tonight but we shouldn't be relying on him for goals.

And that in a nutshell is the problem. We have Reeves, Clee, Perry, Walshaw and Moult, but the goals have dried up! Why is that?

for me it's because we have no midfield presence

Who take the pressure of the defence and play balls to the feet of the forwards

It's the engine room of any team

This is my fear - the top five are all in pretty good form, while those who'd hope to catch them (ourselves, Solihull, Guiseley) are struggling a bit.

I don't think there are any really outstanding sides in this league - those near the bottom can harbour reasonable thoughts of beating those near the top. Patience is needed.

If you look at the table alone, you'd have to say the title is gone, and our games in hand are crucial now to get in the play-offs. A win on Saturday to get confidence back up if anything, and see where we are come 5 o clock. It's an old cliche, but given how no-one in this league can string a run of 6 wins together, have to take each game as it comes.
