Hesitating over a new deal at Chester, by all accounts is a class act who similarly to Durrell bags plenty of goals from midfield (and takes penalties), their fans are desperate to keep him

Has yo-yo'd between PT and FT football, so if his hesitation is anything to do with having a PT gig (long shot) he'd make a brilliant signing.

Didn't notice him in the 2 games where we pissed all over Chester so not sure how much of a class act he is.

If we sign Georgie Thompson I'll be at every game home and away

He didn't play in either of those fixtures.

Eight appearances and two goals for Chester during the season:

Got this slightly wrong - HE wants to stay, but I think Chester are struggling to justify giving him a deal after being injured for most of 2015 since they signed him.

He'd struggle to get another FT gig if Chester release him - I think he'd be worth a pop given his record with Kings Lynn (and Chester by all accounts when he's played).

Just had a look at Sundays nlp. 14 conference goals since signing in January!

Yup, I'd be interested.

I like Mahon at Chester as well actually.

Looks inevitable that he'll be staying at Chester unfortunately...

Mahon at Chester is a good call. I always liked him when he played against us for Vauxhall. I know Sam Wedgbury played for FGR the other night, but I'm not sure how much of a regular he is in their team. Clearly, we need the sort of midfielder who can get forward and support Reevsey.

I would say we need a forward to support Reeves, rather than a midfielder. I think we have players who can go forward, it is a creative player we need in my opinion. But everyone has their own thoughts, and who is say which is right or wrong.

We need a player to play AMR, not a winger or a midfielder, fast good passer but with a strong shot,

Not someone who is available I suspect but the type of player id like to see and a player I like is Jake Lawlor at Guiseley. For this that don't remember the tall midfielder who is very good at spraying the ball out to the wings and then getting forward, good passer, gets goals, threat from set pieces. If we are playing 451 with two wingers I'd prefer him as it's a bit more solidity than Lawrie.

Neither are good calls I'm afraid.

Mahon just signed a new contract for 2 years and Wedgbury has been ever present for FGR.
