I thought Matt had one of his best games for Alty last night.

Not sure who got man of the match last night but in my book it would have been Matt.

I did spot something though whilst standing behind our goal in the second half.

He does seem quiet on the pitch and sometimes when he had two players to mark he didnt call for assistance, or at least I didnt hear him. This nearly led to a goal late on when he slid in to try to intercept the ball and missed it. From where I was stood I can understand why he slid in but missing it caused the problem. Had he had back up he could have closed the player down and been on his feet.

Previously I have said we get raped down our left side, but last night showed me that perhaps it may not be Matts fault that he gets overrun by two players.

Well played Matt.

I maintain Matt's better in midfield than defence, but I agree he did quite well last night - made some really decent tackles.
