If my memory is correct the only teams that brought a large away following in the Cheshire League/NPL days were Vics, Runcorn and Wigan (who also managed to swell the ranks of Alty supporters due to a punch up being guaranteed). Macc didnt bring that many fans. The Cheshire League included some Reserve sides from clubs like Stockport and Chester. Other local sides such as Congleton, Witton, Ellesmere PT and Sankeys did not have much support.
