"I’m not sure I mentioned £2m but it’s been mentioned and that’s not too far off the number."

Er, you mentioned it earlier in the interview, you dick.

Still, he did a good ob at York, he's fairly well thought of there still. I'm sure Phil will explain a bit more....

This guy is obviously a business man trying to make some money on the Chester City brand. Problem is business men don't have a place in football. You can't make any money out of a football team unless you are Manchester United or Real Madrid. Fact.

He should be kept as far away from a football club as possible.

So i dont care about the fans and if they come to watch them or not. Dont think there will be many sponsors queuing to help when only 22 players, match officials and officials of the clubs will see their advertising boards !!!

This truly is typical of our times, the fatcat-imformation age, unfortunately true football fans dont have a place in it >:(

I hope the FA are informed. He already seems to have made himself a household name anyway.

He is what's totally wrong for football. Football is a sport, and as such, has fans ! He wants to buy a club and turn it into a marketing and buisness guise and blatantly admits he couldn't give two hoots about Chester City's FANS.

Disgusting vile man !

What a T**t. There are a growing number of people/teams/groups involved in football who I just hate. This guy is up there with Sepp Blatter, Malcolm Glazer, Ken Bates, Daniel Levy and MK Dons (the people of Milton Keynes should have stayed away rather than effectively steal Wimbledon's football club).

Three cheers for Geoff Goodwin, that's what I say!

They seem to have knack of attracting alleged crooks. Eric Barnes, Mark Guterman, Terry Smith, Vaughan.
The main problem at Chester is the in-fighting among their own supporters. They have 4 different supporters groups.

So they (the fans) don’t get a vote. And they don’t get a vote because they don’t get a vote when they go to Tesco’s on how the store is run. Why should it be any different with football?

does this mean he is going to close the club down when they play millwall?
