Every other pre season friendly is listed and running continually along the skysports ticker bar,why is altrincham v manchester united not advertised on there??

I notice that Alty's pre season friendly games are often not listed on the TV sport listings
.... Is it due to the club not informing the broadcasters or some other reason..

It seems a good advertising opportunity missed..

I also often wonder why the BSP half times are not read out at home games either..

Maybe somebody in the know will read this and have an explanation?

I have always said about the Alty friendlies not showing up on Sky or indeed teletext sometimes... I always think its a good way to get the club in peoples heads and also helps people do 'last minute' match watching

Don't get me started on Sky, its a disgrace that they are moving Sky Sports News to Sky only from 23rd Aug, so anyone who doesnt have Sky won't be able to watch anyway!

If anyone is a member of the red issue forum then please post the details on there asap. IF we get details of the united team early enough we need to get it out into the public domain as soon as possible.get it on all the united forums and on to facebook etc. Especially if a couple of first teamers are included in the squad

I know its not what people want to hear but utds first team squad is currently either in or on its way to dublin for tommorrows friendly vs irish league select xi, this is at the new landsdown road I beleive. So I doubt (but hope I'm wrong) that we will see anyone who you've heard of, unless u watch there reserve or acadamy sides regularly on MUTV.

Personally I never expect Utd to play any First team players when they visit us...

I quite like watching the new crop of players, plus it makes for a better game than having some first teamer posing for 30 mins then pissing off...

All I hope for tonight is a good performance from Alty and a DECENT crowd...

Sadly it is true Ecky... I did read somewhere that there will be a Sky Sports 3+ replacing it on freeview...
